Fish Catch Slots

Big Catch Slots is kind of like a cartoon fish game that has ample amounts of charm and is fit to be the premise of a film. We love it, and wish more games would try this hard!

If you like the art, we recommend skipping this review and giving it a spin. It’s the only way to know for sure, and we can’t see many people having regrets for laying down money to have a good time that might pay you for it and then some.

Premise

The premise of Big Catch Slots is cartoon fish. They don’t play that much with the idea that you are technically going to be killing these poor animals with a hook in the mouth, but that is probably for the greater good. Imagine Finding Nemo if they had dealt with that in depth? It plays out like a Saturday Morning Cartoon in 3 dimensions, which is fitting and likely for the best.

Presentation

Graphics in Big Catch Slots are really good. Everything is HD, crisp, clear, colorful, and compelling to look at, which makes your time spent spinning all the easier because of how easy they are on the eyes. The 3d renderings are nice, and the cards all have a coral feel that went over really well. 3d renderings fill out the brunt of the graphics, but look great. Save for the little star fish. We hate that little guy and think he needs to go.

Mechanics

Gameplay in Big Catch Slots is classic and nothing new. At 5 reels and 20 pay lines, it does nothing to break the mold there, chosing instead to keep things classy in ways we can respect.

Betting here goes from a penny to $10, making this a very accessible slot that anyone can jump into in hopes of winning a lot of money without the worries about necessarily breaking the bank in the process. Max bets cap out at $100, which is how we rolled when we played it a bunch for our review.

It’d be great if there was more in the way of bonus rounds, but larger fish meaning larger prizes is fun enough for us, and we like money.
